Honey Cake
Yield: Big Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 C Brown Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- ¾ C Oil
- 1 C Honey
- 2½ C Flour
- 2 t Cinnamon
- ¾ T Baking Powder
- 1 t Baking Soda
- 2 bags Earl Grey Tea steeped in 1 C hot water

Steep tea bags in 1 cup hot water, set aside.

Combine brown sugar and eggs by spoon.

Gradually whisk in oil, then honey.

Add dry ingredients, mix just until combined.

Pour in tea, mix to combine.

Grease/line pan and pour in batter.

Bake on 350 for 35-45 minutes.
Note
Optional crumble (flour, brown sugar, sliced almonds, oil) — top cake when half baked. Or tahini frosting from Tahini Brownies.
