Jerusalem Bagels

Yield: 6

Ingredients

  • 2¾ C Flour
  • 7 g Dry Yeast
  • 1 C Water, warm
  • 2 T Honey
  • 3+1 T Oil
  • 1 t Salt
  • ¾-1 C Sesame Seeds

Instructions

    Place all ingredients except sesame seeds in bowl, knead till smooth.

    Oil bowl, cover, rise 1 hour to double.

  3. 3

    Divide into 6 balls, rest 15 minutes.

  4. 4

    Roll each into long rope, shape into oval connecting ends.

  5. 5

    3 per lined sheet.

  6. 6

    Fill one pan with water and one with sesame seeds.

  7. 7

    Dip each in water then seeds.

  8. 8

    Bake on 400 for 18-20 minutes until golden.

Freezes well.
