Pesto

Ingredients

  • Pine Nuts
  • Fresh Basil
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. 1

    Place pine nuts on lined sheet, roast 1-2 minutes at a time — burn easily.

    Add to blender with about equal parts basil.

  3. 3

    Add fresh garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper and olive oil.

  4. 4

    Blend smooth.

  5. 5

    Taste, adjust.

Note

Optional: preserved lemon juice in place of salt/lemon. Store airtight in fridge.
