Pickled Veggies

Yield: 1 jar (8 C)

  • ¼ C Kosher Salt
  • 2 T Sugar
  • 1 C Distilled Vinegar
  • Filtered Water to fill
  • Turmeric

Cauliflower, carrots, celery, cabbage...

  • Vegetables to fill 4 pt/8 C jar

Instructions

    Prep veggies, fill glass jar to top.

  2. 2

    Add salt, sugar, vinegar, then water to fill.

  3. 3

    Seal tightly, sit at room temp 24 hours.

  4. 4

    Add 1 T turmeric, shake, sit 24 more hours shaking occasionally.

  5. 5

    After 48 hours at room temp, ready to eat.

  6. 6

    Store in fridge.
