Red Marinated Olives
Yield: 24 oz
Ingredients
- 1 Can Israeli Olives
- Olive Oil
- 5-8 Garlic Cloves, thinly sliced
- 1 T Chili Powder
- 1 T Paprika
- ½ T Smoked Paprika
- Preserved Lemons, thinly sliced
Instructions

Drain and rinse olives, transfer to pot with sliced garlic.

Medium flame, cook 5 minutes.

Add olive oil till ⅔ covered.

Add spices, mix.

If oil isn't red enough, more chili powder.

Cook 6 minutes stirring occasionally.

Add preserved lemon, cook 5 more minutes.

Cool, store airtight in fridge.
Note
Bring to room temp or warm before serving. Without preserved lemon, add lemon squeeze (but preserved lemon adds a lot of flavor).
